I don’t know what the folks at Dolce are thinking. They continue to price their product very high and without the performance to back it up.

QOTD: The one with the wings looks kind of silly so I’ll say the silver dude is cooler.

For Thanksgiving we’re serving a good QPR pinot noir from Maule Valley, Chile and 2006 Corte Gardoni Bardolino Superiore which has a little nutmeg on the nose.

although the He-man movie with Drago is cool too. dug it as a kid. Good wines. kind of all over the place with wine today with family in. wife and I split an 2006 Inkberry shiraz/cab last night. very good if anyone is interested.

Gonna have to find tht Clio! Sounds fantastic.

Another killer fruit bomb, but impeccably balanced and with nice bright acids, is the 2005 Dumas Station Estate Merlot (Walla Walla). What a killer merlot, much in the style of Leonetti and, in my humble opinion, better than just about anything you will ever find in California. Especially for the price…. $25!!!

QOTD – never watched either of them, but give me Shaggy, Scooby, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, and a big glass of zin, and I am fat, dumb, stoopid, and happy!

GV – have had the Dolce and it is a nice dessert wine. Have not had the Clio, but I will have to seek it out.

QOTD – not really a fan of the action creatures, but I will have to say that my favorite is the Oak Monster!
