Pinotage is here to stay that’s for sure. Did a quick research and the 2006 south African wines were not outstanding but an excellent vintage.

Good one GV, Pinotage is a very hard varietal. I don’t love it but don’t hate it either, but I will try a lot of stuff twice or even three times before deciding on anything.

QOTD: Have one friend who was a barrister in South Africa………….so I know more than most……..I have also met several from South Africa recently and they have talked about the violence and crimes there…….I know they have fabulous wines………..South Africa is still very British…..
