QOTD: When at home, believe or not, i’ll have Sauternes or Port.
At a restaurant, i’ll have Ice cream or Creme Brulee, because Sauternes or Vintage Port are very expensive!!!…:)
Nothing beats a Sauternes…i’m piling up on those 2001, 2003 and 2005!!!!

I like simple, old school, french stuff like creme brulee and tart au citron. But I recently discovered a recipe for a super old fashioned mid west dessert called vinegar pie which is basically a lemon tart made with apple cider vinegar rather than lemon juice and sprinkled with cinnamon. Sounds kinda gross but is %*$&*# awesome! But just some fresh ripe fruit is good too. Or and old port or Pedro Jimenez Sherry.

Definitely hot fudge sunday. Then a glass of warm port… so nice.

The Thunder Show rocks! Even if I can’t get hold of most of the wines here in Europe it’s inspirational to watch.

Suggestion: A Barolo blind tasting, and/or some value Nebbiolo-based wines (Gattinara etc.)
