Nice episode! Learning about kosher wines is really interesting.

What’s the best kosher wine for beginners?

Great guest and show tonight just as the whole week has been. WLTV rocked this week! Where can you see great info about wine with top experts all for free with no commercial interruptions?!!
QOTD: Israel will always be here. They were the chosen ones to be there.

Mister Rogov was a great guest, and your banter was smoother and less edgy than in some episodes–very enjoyable. But I wish you or he had briefly explained what makes a wine kosher.

One of your best shows. Great guest.

You’ve got to get George DeBoeuf on, so we can see him spit.

  • Thank you and Daniel for a great show. That honestly looked easy and fun. I wonder what fell during the episode.

QOTD: For the sake of my friends and their families I surely hope so.

  • You guys were great together–quirky chemistry between you two, but it worked. (Indeed, these last three episodes with guests have been among the most entertaining and enlightening ever–interesting guests, but all with such very different characters.)

    Rogov knows his juice.

QOTD: Yes, Israel will still exist in 75 years, because Israel (just like the good old USA) is as much an idea as it is a geographical location. The idea of Israel is immortal. The place itself, well, nothing of this world lasts forever, and Israel and the USA and everything else of that kind will eventually, as Rogov would put it, “go the way of all flesh.” So I hope and pray that Israel, the place, will still be around in 75 years, flourishing and thriving in peace, a blessing to its neighbors and the world. That’s what all good people must try for as best they know how. But if the place, Israel, is no longer there, the idea will survive and the place itself will come alive again, too.

Goodevening, this was a wonderful episode. I really enjoyed the synergistic relationship you two had, as well as Gary’s adoration for a charming and wonderful wine connoisseur.

QOTD: Like many stated above I don’t believe Israel can exist the way it does today. Only with real democratic reform and integration of Palestinian communities can it hope to achieve recognition and respect from the international community.

Great episode. It seems like the guests have been getting better and better lately. Just to let you know Gary, This is my first comment so you’ve got one more lurker you can mark off your list (even though I’ve been in the forums for the past few three weeks or so).

QOTD: I have no doubt that since Isreal has made it through the past however many thousands of years of war and hardships, they will definately be around in 75 yrs (aside from the fact that they are biblically “God’s chosen people”).

Gary, this was a top notch show. The comparison/contrast yet similarity of the two of you really made for a great show. Take a look back at this ep. and really notice how you two work the wines; you were both on point.

I almost started crying because Rogov reminds me so much of my Jewish Grandpa who died almost 10 years ago!! So cool to see the guy behind all those wine reviews. Love that you’re having so many guests lately.

QOTD: Yes but only if the USA still exists.

QOTD: 75 years is a long time right now; hard to say what will exist.

Not too familiar with kosher wines, but good show and guests. Btw, how do kosher wines differ from others in order to be ‘Kosher’?
Mostly, good ‘educational resource’ learning and listening to opinions (rahter than reviews) of others. Btw, do remember your bet…will be interesting to see how the wine evolves in 3-4 years, not mentioning if it was just 3-4 hours decanting!

QOTD: As Daniel said, no politics man! But even if Israel does exists, will peace exist?

I have to agree with a lot of the comments above in that the chemistry between you two is remarkable. Gary, you have obviously received many distinguished guests in the past, but very seldom have you met your match in quickness of tongue and tempo of conversation. I would love to see Daniel a couple more times on the show… perhaps talking about wines in general, not just Kosher?

QOTD: Yes, but I dread to think what the human cost of that will be, on all sides.
