Your guests just keep getting better and better. You can tell that Robert lives the wines. Your comments on waiting for the wines to evolve was spot on.
QOTD: Airport kiosks are great when you have someone there to help you, ie, your spouse because I screw it up everytime.

i like the airport ticket machines too. so much faster than waiting in line for a person. whatd you guys think of this guest? i feel like he avoided every one of garys questions. sorta changed the subject as if he didn’t know how to answer. thought it was weird. just my two cents.

I hate automated stuff everywhere, give people their jobs back!

Perhaps I’m being unfair to judge this guest from a single video blog but, as of right now, I have very little interest in reading his book to find out what more he has to say. Is he just overwhelmed to be on winelibraryTV? This guys is all fluff and no substance. I don’t care that he is trying to promote his book. If you have something genuine to share, sure why not? However, it is unwise to pose as a long-time follower of this vlog and community when he clearly just picked up a few tips about the thundershow here and there. This is in stark contrast to the recent episode with the owners of Ampelos winery, in which the guests, while promoting their wine, had much insight and passion to share with the viewers. Am I being too critical?

QOTD – Self check-in kiosks and e-tickets are vital to maintaining a reasonable traffic flow in the airports. Time at the airport should not be spent waiting at the check-in line; it should be spent saying good-bye to friends and family in person or over the phone. Do you know what’s even better? PDA electronic tickets. We’re being taken over by machines? No, it saves trees and reduces waste.

Loved the show and loved Robert’s enthusiasm although getting him to answer questions is a bit like pulling teeth.

The kiosks are a god send and get me through check in a snap.

Gary, if this show had continued much longer, you would have had to bitch slap the dude. I felt he was only there to sell books.

I had trouble with this guest. I didn’t get the passion from him. If he was an avid viewer he would know you rinse and ask the QOTD. I don’t think the cork is what would get screwed if i bought his book.

What in the hell was that about. He says that he watches the show and then doesn’t know that you rinse after each wine. Then follows up by being baffled by the concept of the question of the day. I smell BS. Something about that guy made me want to slap him, jesus your book was already linked up you don’t need to plop it in front of the camera. We could see it the whole episode on the right part of the screen.

QOTD: The machines at the airport are just fine.

I agree with everything hpark said… with that, my wife and I have an appointment for a tasting at Ampelos on April 10… CAN’T WAIT!!!

P.S. – nice to see A DANE of all people, in the 2 last episodes (#630+31). (All though he was a bit stiff – we’re not all like that 😉 But he was allright 🙂
