This episode reminded me a bit of a sitcom.. funny stuff.

WOW guys! I got a little uncomfortable at a couple points. Long time viewer but first time I have gotten to meet pops. This was great! Seems classic. GV, you had an awesome reaction when he threatened to tell the sex of Little V.

I just spent a couple nights camping with my 7 yr old son. Had a blast. I hope we get along as well as you two when he is Gary’s age.

Re the question that was not asked; I think Gary let it slip that the new baby is a boy. Not betting just waiting to see if I saw what I thought.

The economy will improve over time, it always does, and then sometime it will fall flat again. As long as we the people pay others to “take care” of us and look the other way while they use our funds for the profit of people who already have too much and are greedy for more.

Sasha looks like Steve Jobs.

Doing the recent episode catch up after a week away. Gary I gotta say you must be using some subliminal messaging because every time I get to watching WLTV I have to open a bottle and taste along (granted almost always not the same stuff your drinking in the episode but something fun none the less).

WOW! What a wonderful show today.
Just catching up on the episodes since I got back from my wine travels and I have to say that was one of the most enjoyable shows I’ve seen – not necessarily for the wine content (although Sasha’s view on the Don Alfonso Cabernet was fantastic)but for me we witnessed a great double act of Father & Son being born. I demand to see more of Sasha…can we have him back at least once a month?

How about a “Wine Politics Show” hosted by Sasha along the lines of the “Mondovino” debate – now that would be real fun!! (at least for me).

Much as I enjoyed this show, I was awfully disappointed with these picks for a kosher episode. There is SO much great kosher wine out there–you know that better than I do–and to pick $5 Don Alfonso for one of three kosher wines isn’t doing justice to the kosher market. I’ve also never been impressed with Barkan and wasn’t at all surprised that their chard was unremarkable. Please do another kosher show soon and taste better, more interesting bottles! I’d love to see you try Ella Valley, especially the chardonnay and/or cab franc.

GV – enjoyed the show! You and your dad have a nice chemistry. You can tell that you will argue your points, but your true respect for one another is woven throughout.

QOTD – Q3 2009 will see the decline stop. Q4 2009 will see a stabilization and possibly a slight uptick. 2010 will have us back to normal.

Gary, it was great to see your Dad on the show and you two have a fantastic rapport. Reminds me of the relationship my Dad and I have and that’s a great thing.

Just catching this episode months later. Very funny yet informative. There are sooo many kosher wines on the market today. Do this more often!

Catching up on some episodes. Can’t believe I missed one of Sasha’s! Great episode guys. I think Beuajolais, especially the Cru’s, are the perfect summertime red. Just too hot here in FL for big reds in the summer (at least when the suns up).
QOTD – We’ve got at least 1-2 years before we start to see the economy turn around.

Sahsa is the best! I love it when he is on! I think that we will not get out of the down turn for at least a year. I do support the President 100%. I think that your dad brings a lot of life to the show. Thanks! Cheers guys
