Gary, watching you pause to go check on your little girl during the show had me smiling ear to ear. She is absolutely beautiful…and that outfit is amazing! Congratulations again to you and your wife!! I am holding my five month old right now and he is not only the sunshine, but the sun that makes everything else in this world shine as well. Italian varietals don’t adapt too well. . Other than Zinfandel, I’ve never been blown away by an Italian grape outside of the homeland. They don’t even exist much away from their localities within Italy, as it is very regional country where most have their own varietals and styles of food etc. Regional pride is big in Italy, whether or not this is cultural or geographical, I don’t know. Perhaps someone could shed some light on this ?

Sardinian wines have recently been a big revelation to me, please do a tasting of these one day.

For a moment there, it looked like you had traded your wristband for a hospital bracelet.

QOTD… I have the same sunshine as you, but mine is names Maya… and she’s about 9 1/2 months older… never knew something so small could make me this happy.

When my first born was in my arms, I asked her dad, “Is this Katie Sunshine or Melanie Rainbow?”

He chose Katie Sunshine; and yes, I went to to also have Melanie Rainbow and then Lyla Lynn. (Lyla’s derived from the flower lily… flower child that she is.)

And, yes, those names were on their LEGAL birth certificates.

I understand your “Sunshine.” It’s a magical moment that grows up so fast, so enjoy each and every second!
