I am a fan of WLTV and think it is very important to find new and interesting ways to make wine education fun. My contribution to wine education is to put together an event in Toronto, Canada to educate the Millennial Demographic about wine. When I watched your episode on candy bars, a lightbulb went off for an event theme.

Would you be able to give me a few other candybar wine match ups? Are there any candy bars that go with a white wine that you could recommend?

Sorry gang, but I’m catching up so I’m late on the feedback.
QOTD: You know, the $100,000 candy bar was my absolute favorite as a child–probably tied with Snickers. However, I ate one this past Halloween, and it was waaaaaaaay too sweet for me. I guess I’m getting old because I now prefer Cacao Reserve 65% Dark Chocolate by Hershey. Go figure!

In college, wine and candy didn’t go well for me one night. Rough night. Snickers doesn’t work.
But I would love to try wine and Reece’s Peanut Butter cups.

We have been doing a tasting locally “Chevron meets Cheval Blanc” Its Brilliant!!! Prosecco with Krispy Kremes, Nice rich merlot with Ding Dongs, BBQ Lil Smokies or Fudge Brownies with Zinfandel, Unoaked Chardonnay with Apple Pie, Rose with Swanson Turkey Pot Pie, there are more. We are taking the snob out of wine

QotD: Kit Kats are good but I love Reese’s anything and have a hard time resisting them. Had Reese’s Whoppers recently, a combination of two of my favorite candies!

QOTD: Marabou’s (swedish chocolate producer) ‘Schweizer Nöt’ (swiss nut). Really well balanced, not too sugarfied.

QOTD: Tradre's Joe's dark chocolate covered espresso beans…. The flavors play so well with so many big red wines!!

I don’t get the 3 musketeer’s either. I think someone put it on the market as a practical joke and somehow people actually started to buy it.

Interesting oddball episode. Shame there weren’t any candy bars from the UK as we all know that’s where the best ones all come from. My personal favourite is too close to call. A tie between Topic, Double Decker, Toffee Crisp, and possibly the daddy of them all, Munchies. Worst by a long way are Reeses…nasty.
