The Dark Knight. Had the Tolosa prior and thought it was crap. Didn’t know it had such a high rating but that wouldn’t have mattered. Agreed about being ticked off at that rating.

QOTD…..The wrestler was pretty good the latest 007 movie was decent too.

QOTD: The Uninvited (2009). The DVD came out recently. Kind of spooky and suspenseful.

QOTD:What kind of films do you like?? I know you liked “The Warriors” so you might want to check out “Southeren Comfort,” “Class of 1984,” or “Heathers”.

I don’t have netflix, but I saw “Awakenings” on encore not too long ago. I really enjoyed the the story and it has Robert Deniro and Robin Williams in very unexpected roles. (1990’s movie)

Last movie I saw was Cars. Not the newest movies, but new to my 2 year old son. I think he watched it 7 times on the trip to and from Disney World last month. I finally broke down and watched it with him, instead of just hearing the dialog from the back seat. Soon the kiddy movies will be more of your life as well! haha.

QOTD: Party Down on Watch Instantly – Netflix.

A TV show somewhat similar to the Office. It involves a group of out-of-work-actors in California who work at a catering service. Each episode is 30 minutes, and covers a different catering job. It was shown on Starz and does have some bad language and nudity. Half the episodes were directed by Fred Savage of Wonder Years fame. I went through the 12 episode season in under a week. Check it out.

Thanks for the show, interesting to hear your thoughts on the NZ Sav Blanc, I’m getting the impression today that many of these wines are really starting to go over the top – to big, to intense, to full on and loose style and subtality.

QOTD: Haven’t been watching many movies, but have got into a few TV series. Just finished the first series of Heroes (for some reason I’d never watched it before). But my recomendation would definitely be Underbelly a Australia series, set in Melbourne and based around the true story of the gangland war. A show that is really, really worth seeking out.

QOTD: I have watched “Shutter” (you could change one of the vowels to get the review) bad, bad, the newest “Batman” movie (almost as bad) and “WWII: Behind Closed Doors” on PBS which was absolutely amazing. Watch it, we will all learn something.

QOTD: I too have a new-ish daughter (16-months) so I can honestly say we haven’t even had time to watch a whole movie! Though now that the TV season is over (Lost, Scrubs, Numbers) the DVR is clear so we might get to movies.

QOTD – Straw Dogs, with Dustin Hoffman and Susan George – Directed by Sam Peckinpah – seventh time I’ve watched it – awesome….

….bought 10 mixed wines I’d never had before last week, had a party and only one was worth the effort – much like todays show….
