I am not a big hockey fan and have only been to 2 games in Atlanta. I did enjoy them because they seem a lot faster and rougher in person than on TV. So I guess hockey needs to get more of us to attend games because watching on TV is not making me a fan. I would probably drink beer at a hockey game.

One of the best shows yet, Gary. The Nadeau brothers are Stars in this part of Canada. I am sure there will be tons of new followers to your blog from Eastern Canada following this show.

QOTD 1: I was a big Blues fan in high school and now with work and limited free time it is hard to follow all the sports so I just stick to baseball and football now.
QOTD 2: My beverage of choice at any sporting event is an ice cold beer. As long as it is not Miller, Coors, or Budweiser.

Quite a boring show for me – just didn’t feel like the wines were the focus on the show.

Surprisingly this is one of my favourite all-time episodes. GV coming out with a non-stop barrage of quality one-liners, a couple of laid back guests who are happy to let GV take all the limelight, and lots of sports-related asides. These sort of guests really work well with Gary as he’s helpful in developing their wine knowledge and enjoyment without making them feel stupid.
