that guy comes form a different piece of fabric that they don’t make anymore. it was great to hear him just lay it down + anybody gets respect when they start talking about venison dinners in the AC back in the day. also, he knows a guy named “carmine ” they don’t make many of them either these days.

GV, that was perhaps the best interview you’ve ever done. You were humble, respectful, and above all, you let the man answer the questions and didn’t interrupt. I know I called you out once before about interrupting, but I want to give credit where it is due. Great job!

Great guest, delightful man. I can remember sharing a glass of Opici with my dad in the 70’s. My dad’s usual wine tasted like it was fermented in the radiator of a ’58 DeSoto, so Opici was a big step up (his special holiday wine). GV, thanks for another wonderful episode.

Good show Gary. QOTD; We will just fine in the next 25 years. Don’t listen to these pessimistic schmucks who worry about phony issues like global warming. They will never be happy. I feel sorry for them.

What a wonderful gentleman. Mr. Opici is truly an inspiration to hard work and enjoying life. I hope I am 93 years young some day as well… and with such a great memory!
