I have seen over 600 episodes of WLTV. I am ( as you would say) a lurker. This is my first comment.
This is the fifth anniversary of my father passing away. He was 85 years old.
My father had Opici Barberone jug wine all the time. I grew up on it.
How ironic it was when I tuned in and saw the jug of Opici Barberone sitting on the table and Mr. Opici as your guest.
Opici is probably the least expensive wine you have featured on WLTV, but had the most inpact on me beacause of the memory of my dear dad.

QOTD: WELL, the wine business will be even more developed in 25 years, with major distribution for Slovakia, Romania, MORE exposure for South Africa, MORE press and quality wine produced from US states other than CA, OR, and WA (such as more NY fingerlakes and Long Island juice, more RI wines in the forefront, more MI wines, etc.), Portugal will be nearly on-par with Spain in their international reputation for dry wines, and there will be a softening in pricing for top tier French and Italian wines. Oh yeah- and CHINA will officially be on the scene for value-priced “international varietal” (read: French) wine production. Cheers.
