line of the day – ‘if you get your whole nose in there you’ll get a much higher level of sniffy sniffness’

Thought the format worked pretty well and GV handled the tasters very nicely…but the wise-guy in the hat annoyed me (for several reasons; a/ butting in, b/ the smug smile and c/ the hat). Also the sound was non-existent when GV went around the table for opinions. Hope the rest of the week turns out better

    That seemed like fun. I think doing a last supper setting would work too.
    I have had some good and some not so good wines from Douro but enjoy searching them out. They seem mysterious and sometimes don’t tell you the varietal.
