    I really find these fascinating. It also scares me because when you think about the next big thing in wine or how the industry is going to move on it’s very very difficult but here’s a man who has been at the forefront of it several times.

    I obviously have massive respect for him but I disagree with not letting his Russian river site speak for itself. You will never be able to replicate the original; so try to do something different with its own identity. Will the Burgundians ever say him to him this tastes like Gevrey-Chambertin or Vosne-Romanee? But if you let the wine speak for itself then you can create something truly original.

    That’s just my opinion and what would I know about it, if I achieve one percent of what he did I’ll be happy.
