Since you are going to do three wines, how about three wines at different price points? Hey, whatever happened to Part 2 of the 2007 Chateauneuf Du Pape review?

Mark Sanchez is one hell of a rookie quarterback. Rex Ryan deserves a lot of credits, too. NJ is lucky to have them this year.

You know, I was just thinking that WLTV was starting to lose a little of its luster, a little of the interaction that I loved in the past. But WHAM! you pull out something like this and suck me back in! I love it, I’ll definitely taste along (though maybe on Sat, got a 8 mi race Sat morning), and I’m so glad that you’re constantly working to make sure this show stays awesome!!!

This gives us a chance to try some of these wines and develop our own opinions before we hear what you think. I have found myself buying wines after you review them and wanting to agree with you instead of being completely unbiased and developing my own palette

Gary, congrats on the Jets victory – it obviously put you in a good frame of mind. Being a Giants fan, I too am happy today. I like the idea of forecasting the wines for Friday, and especially that you’ll do wines others around the country can get. I look forward to the Allegrini – visited the winery several years ago – the ‘Torre’ is a great reasonable wine, but other offerings from Allegrini are also outstanding, particularly their Amarone. Keep it up – BTW – nice cover article in the NYTimes Food section a few weeks ago. NickP

Gary, I like the idea you have for Friday?s. Would be fun if you could set up a competition with you Followers; take suggestions of widely available wines under $30 to taste. The winner from each week could carry over to the next until SuperBowl Friday which would determine the ?Football Friday?s Super Bowl Winner.?

Big shout out to Rex and Sanchez. I live SO Cal and saw first hand that Sanchez has big potential, and Rex is allowing the Defense to just have fun. What a difference a year can make. On the other hand I am a Miami fan and am just hoping that I don?t see 0-2 tonight!
