I LOVE IT WHEN MR. VAYNERCHUK is on the show!!!! Hey Gary, you should bring your dad to St. Louis with you! We have one of the largest Jewish Populations in the country and a state of the art, fabulous JCC. They would love to here him come and speak about his experience as an immigrant from Russia and how he built such a successful business and a wonderful family! Then you guys could go fishing together in the Ozarks! What a great idea, right? OK, you were probably thinking more of deep sea fishing on the Atlantic or fishing up in Canada, but the Ozarks are beautiful. Well maybe not so much in December, but it’s just a thought.

You guys are awesome!!!

I’m glad you were both so high on the Caymus. I think a lot of the big name California cabs and meritages are way overrated, Opus, Silver Oak, etc, but Caymus is one of the one’s I’ve always felt delivers, the 02 Special Selection was one of the best wine’s I’ve had, and I’m intimately familiar with the 07 because I bartend and we pour this by the glass and I agree with your tasting notes. Obnoxious nose but not fake at all, and good call on the eucalyptus bit, there was something I was picking up but I couldn’t quite describe.

Why couldn’t you have done this show last week!!!!! Just got back from Sonoma and Napa on Monday… avoided Napa Valley like the plague because I hate competing with limosines full of drunk party girrrls and tour busses with old men wearing hats and their pants pulled up to their manboobs…. Now, however, I am wishing I had dealt with the Highway 29 zoo and made a pass through there! We had some killer 2007 wines in the Alexander Valley, though… Hanna, Stryker Sonoma, deLorimer, and several others had it going on.

While I am at it… WL doesn’t deliver to Washington State. Waz up wit dat??

Great show. I’m excited about trying some Napa Valley 07’s. Maybe I can convince my girlfriend to go out there for a visit this Spring/Summer.

I absolutely adore your dad. The Father’s Day episode had me in tears. Such great character. Made me miss my own father.

I also placed my first wine order from WL today. I’m not sure when the ban was lifted from Illinois, but this is GREAT news for me. I’ve missed out on too many good wines because of the tight IL liquor restrictions.
