Been having a lot of fun watching a bunch of your shows today including the cereal pairing episode. Just found out about the show recently through the NYT article. The show inspired me to dig out my notebook with my wine tasting notes and have a glass of Riesling with lunch (Dr. Fischer Ock Bock).

Biggest recent letdown? Well I was really hyped by a job interview I had, and later found out the job was filled by the same person who left it and decided to come back, that was a bummer.

That’s a tough one…

Reaching for straws here, but I was a ‘bit’ excited for the lunar impact that was hyped-up by both NASA and the media alike. They promised a viewable impact explosion from Earth, but there wasn’t one. Oh well.

QOTD: Disappointment. Harvest. Left for holidays it was 30C, came back two weeks later it was -10 and white with snow. Oops.

I was just telling my wife that I really enjoy the 10min mark format. Easy to tackle daily, and even more importantly, if I miss a few days, I can catch up in a half hour to an hour rather than 2 hrs+!!

Love the tighter shows, love the direct comps as well, giving me a location and relevant info as opposed to some almost random location/vineyards and vintages. Go Gary

Nice show with some interesting facts Gary. It’s amazing that the two wines were so different. Good white burgundy can bring serious thunder.

I like the tighter show. Guests seem to roam the landscape of thoughts. When it is just GV it is great. Boyer Charmes has always been my favorite Mersault and I have never had the other vineyard to begin with.
