Love this show, but I have to ask if you have ever had someone taste test with you, where you write down your thoughts before reading them out loud?

You describe all of the flavors, but simply SAYING that something is apple-y will make someone else taste it. I would love to know how different people taste without being told WHAT to taste.

Holy bubbles Vaynerman! What an awesome show…I’ve been trying to catch up on episodes, and I had waited on these so that I could watch them back to back. It was WELL worth the wait! Jennifer is the Jancis Robinson of our generation!

What a beautiful, smart, charismatic guest. Twin?… Loved the ending. Have wanted to try that for years and will sabre a bubbly on my next Bday. She’s an uber Jedi wino! Science can be fun! Encore!

Also, I’d like to agree with the commentators who experienced the strong “Tina Fey” notes emmanating from Jen….. I think she stands as a nice polar opposite to Sarah palin in the potential Tina Fey repotoire… If only the rest of the world were able to aknkowledge Jennifer’s accomplishments for what they’re worth we might get to see an attempt…

Gary, if it’s not quite Marzipan, it might be the same basic thing, but hazelnut paste rather than almond. I got a lot of Hazelnut in the Blanc de Millesime.

It's time to bring Jennifer and the sabre back! Maybe a 1000th show extravaganza?!

Great Show Gary! Jennifer is really a Master… I was looking for something like that for ages!! I was always wondering if decanting champagne is useful or not and if it's make a difference when tasting it. Personally I think old champagnes (+10 yrs) should be decanted for a while. The decanter used in the show is almost perfect, but how can you keep the champagne fresh with that after 1 hour decanting? I found a decanter designed by Paul Bocuse that goes into an ice bucket to keep the champagne (or wine) fresh!

Last time I had bubbly was prob 5 yrs. ago @my wedding. Expanding my palate just downed a bottle of Mumm Rose Napa with the wifey glad to report while it kept getting closer to room temp. lots of more flavor profile revealed itself. Wow how much can my brain hold. MUst WatCh Moore. Gary you’re slowly becoming _________ in my eyes. Whatever that means. Keep it up.
