Sweet episode and I’m definitely “trying that at home!” Only time I’ve ever seen Gary V slightly intimidated by someone else’s wine knowledge! QOTD: who’s the most attractive Master of Wine? AOTD: Jennifer!

  • I hope she comes back, she is amazing.

Decant beat a great show like that with a sabre!
Fantastic guest but still won’t be decanting my cham-pag-knee. I don’ dig soft bubbles.

Amazing episode. Jennifer was a fantastic guest. How about a Jennifer / Sasha episode? My favorite episodes were the Sasha one’s but I think Jen may have nosed him by a Sabre. Great job! This is why I watch every night.

I don’t drink a lot of carbonated drinks, so those tight champagne really fire up my mouth. I like the sound of softer bubbles–I think I’ll try decanting my next champagne. Absolutely loved the sabre opening! Next time you do a champagne or sparkline wine show, you must sabre!

OK, silly question…So, if I decant my champagne…can I still keep it cold? Will the cold temperature work against the decanting? I like cold bubbles.

  • Fun episodes! I can’t wait to try opening a bottle of champagne like that.

Hottest guest to date! I nearly passed out when she said she has a twin sister. OMG.

Keep up the good work, Gary!

ps- I’m 2/3 through Crush It now… you’ll notice that my website/blog is now on Tumblr thanks to your info in chapter 6. Now I just need some content to put up.

  • I am a sparkling shriaz fan (the real stuff not sweet red bubbles). Do the same principles apply? I have 2 excellent bottles of a McLaren Vale Sparkling Shiraz (NV Ulithorne Flamma McLaren Vale Sparkling Shiraz) ready for Xmas and the decanting thing maybe interesting for a wine nerd like me!

  • Loved the episode and especially loved seeing Wine Library TV move away from the office like the early days.

Would really like to see more segments where you go around the store or something of that nature.

  • This was the scariest episode of WLTV ever. So much suspense!

Will the bottle shatter? Will Gary cut his arm?

Find out next week, same bat-time, same bat-channel

    So…where’s the QotD?

  • Great two show. As a chemist i appreciate her explanation of what happens during breathing. Very good.

My first experience of sabering Champagne was at a wedding in France.
