Now we all love Gary and we love the show, but this guest was just too starstruck and psychophantic to do himself justice. I’m sure he’s a nice guy but he seemed a whisker away from wanking GV off…and that is an image I’m desperately trying to erase from my mind!

See, I’d be real interested in trying something like that. The more complicated and complex a wine is, the better I usually like it. Granted my amount of tasted wines is very small. I loved the episode, and I’ll be checking things out, keep it up!

QOTD: In 1977 I had my first bottle of 1970 Charles Krug Vintage Selection Cabernet Sauvignon at La Bourgione in San Francisco and was hooked. Still the best wine I’ve ever had.

Looks like that Pinot Noir is around $46.99. Not bad if it’s that interesting and unique. Maybe still too high though. Great Show Gary!

QOTD: It was some chateauneuf du pape I had in Vegas. It was amazing and I really could taste the earthiness and mineralality. Instantly fell in love.
