Gary – sorry about your Jets. have a different proposal. buy the Bengals. we need a new owner. plus, as the owner you could change their name. like the Tiger-Jets. sounds odd I know but being ahead of the curve is always risky. think about about the mascot possibilities… green tiger stripes… a tiger w/ a Jetpack… how in the world could a tiger w/ a jetpack lose to a dolphin? just sayin. thinking that the Jets might need a bit more focused brand. jets are played out. but, tiger-jets?

I agree, the Falanghina can be nice. They don’t carry too many in my local wine shop, but the one I had was memorable.

A pastor, a doctor and an engineer were waiting one morning for a particularly slow group of golfers.

The engineer finally said, “What’s with these guys? We must have been waiting for 15 minutes!”

The doctor answered, “I don’t know, but I’ve never seen such ineptitude!”

“Here comes the greens keeper, let’s have a word with him,” said the pastor. “Hey, George. What’s with that group ahead of us? They’re pretty slow, aren’t they?”

And George replied, “Oh, yes, that’s a group of blind fire fighters. They lost their sight saving our clubhouse from a fire last year, so we always let them play for free anytime.”

The group was silent for a moment.

The pastor was thoughtful. “That’s so sad. I think I’ll say a special prayer for them tonight.”

The doctor too. “Nice idea. I’m going to contact my ophthalmologist buddy and see if there’s anything he can do for them.”

The engineer said, “Why can’t these guys play at night?”
