Like gamay, or nouveau beaujolais but much better QPR. J. Lohr’s valdiguie is good chilled, and pretty much the lightest fruitiest lowest tannin red I’ve found, besting even alot of gamay. At $9 its a steal, and almost always a winner when I serve it to guests where I work who were previously only white zin drinkers. For everyone else, I’m bringing some nice german rieslings.

Now to the show. I’m a baller when it comes to CA Chards so a great show in the nick of time for Thanksgiving. I love these “old school/warm and fuzzy shows” the reason I’v been here since the beginning of time.

I will say I’m surprised of the poor showing of the Ramey so will need to buy some of the Dumol for sure and of course the Bird Day Pack.

QOTD: I always bring “joy”, my delectable sweet potato casseroles and my laptop so we can watch you review the wines I will bring to the table. So, in essence, I’m bringing YOU to my Thanksgiving table. 🙂
