GARY! for thanksgiving i am going to be going to toronto, gonna check out a gordon lightfoot concert, going to the toronto food and drink show, taking in an Amarone tasting, then on sunday I am going to watch my cousin play hockey. I am pretty excited, a weekend with the family. It will be nice, just broke up with the gf, so its tough, but I am gonna spend a ridiculously good time in Toronto!

That Brewer Clifton counds right up my alley. I really like what I’ve tasted from Santa Barbara County, Santa Rita Hills, Santa Maria, etc… It seems they get enough sun for nice ripe grapes, and the temperature is cool to make sure there is plenty of acid to keep it in balance.

QOTD – I’m going to my parent’s house about an hour away. Should be a pretty small gathering. Dad and I will be handling the cooking and bringing the wine. I’ll bring a Chateau Pesquie Terrases (grenache syrah blend), a Duboeuf Pouilly Fuisse (for my Mom who recently has recently switched to Chardonnay as her wine of choice), and a yet to be determined bottle of bubbly.

QOTD: This year I’m bringing Thanksgiving to my Dad, who’s “alone” for the first time in his life.

QOTD: It’s strange, but as an Australian I don’t even know when Thanksgiving is… BUT at the school I teach in in HK we have a ‘Thanksgiving Day’ and it’s a really nice time. What do I bring? Why I cook the turkey!

Great episode… been wondering about the Chard from BC for a while now.. love their Pinots… will have to try this and compare to the Melville Clone 76 Inox, which btw is part of my QOTD answer…

Can’t wait for the Cinderella 3-packs… hope they’re GOOD… 😉

QOTD: T-Day = Surprising the wife to a place she’s mentioned quite a bit. The menu looks incredible…and no clean up. I’m bringing my credit card.

I’m the lurker who came in from the cold—tonight—finally. QOTD: I’m bringing some 2007 Claiborne & Churchill Central Coast Dry Gewurztraminer, and perhaps a Saucelito Canyon Zinfandel or a Laetitia Pinot Noir. I would have liked to have purchased the Thanksgiving pack, but I worried that it would not arrive in time because I am out here on the West Coast.

QOTD: I always bring the cooking. Not the food, per se b/c we always just have a nice family dinner at home, but I do most of the cooking. Then I bring excitement for the football games in the afternoon! GO PACK GO!!!
