QOTD – Hopefully, the fellowship and environment. Sort of dropped out of the party scene a number of years ago and believe it was a good decision. Way too many “issues” for my taste.

Interesting comment on the 08 Campuget Blanc Costieres De Nimes. I often do not care for Roussanne. Or maybe it’s Marsanne.

QOTD: I’ve read most of Crush It. I have not yet integrated it into my life.
I don’t care for parties unless I know and like most of the people there. Once I’m there, if Yellow Tail or Little Penguin is served, my mood is ratcheted down a bit, so I guess I need drinkable wine. I always appreciate it if the party giver has thoughtfully included some fruit or vegetable or fish dish so that I don’t gain 5 pounds in an evening (which has happened). I like to have the feeling that someone cares for me. Maybe I expect too much of parties. But I don’t care about decorations. They’re quite secondary.

Great episode! I am getting married next October, and this gave me some great insight as to planning our wine selections for the reception!
