Why didn’t they just call it sWINE? Or Bacon Village?
Yo G, Two WINS (for da JETS) in a ROW!!!!! Time to crack-out
somma Your Goooood Vino!!!! 🙂
First, who’s playing tonite?
Second, old world, gotta go with old fashioned Julia Child-type French food with food from Piedmont a close second.
I think people need to pull their heads out and realize that even if the wine were made with swine, you still won’t get the flu from it …
QOTD: I’m gonna go 19 Jets to 13 Bills.
QOTD2: The classical music that was created in the old world.
QOTD: The french do it pretty well Gary, I think Cassoulet. I love that dish.
QOTD 1: How ’bout the Jets!
QPTD 2: Penne Arrabiata
QOTD2: Any type of rustic Italian dish
I met the owner of EIEIO during my one trip to Willamette in 2004. He sold me two bottles of his pinot at a reduced rate because the labels were not applied properly. But the wine inside was excellent. QOTD – My favorite old world cuisine is probably Italian. But I enjoy the food in Spain, France, and Germany when I am there.
QOTD 1) Jets 19 Bills 13… I must be Nostradamus!! Or this is a late comment.
QOTD 2) SPANISH!!! (French and Italian tied for a close second, for very different reasons)
Interesting name for a wine 🙂 Nice to know my perception of NV wine didnt happen on this one.
QOTD 1: Cant guess as I know the score, but you guys def beat the Ban-gals for me.. PLEASE!!
QOTD 2: I think the only old world style of food I have had would be itallian, which I love!!
Italian – especially gnocchi
QOTD: Goat cheese pizza.
Another overpriced wine from Oregon, not surprised to see that.
Congrats to the Jets.
QOTD: I dont know if its old world or not, but I love Pesto sauce with my pasta.
qotd chateau briand
Gary, would love to see your thought on a vin jaune on the show
QOTD 1: No idea as usual on score.
QOTD 2: That’s a great question, I’m going to go with a rustic pasta dish, perhaps carbonara.
Did you guys change your video format? For the first time in three years I can’t view it…
QOTD: Beef bourguignon- nice and relevant, and my favourite.
QOTD: French cuisine in all its forms!
Am answering late so the score is already known.
Old world food – Italy for sure.
