‘I’m quite bored by it and I’m almost taking a nap.’

After a couple of bore draws this episode turns up a decisive and surprising winner of the head to head. Makes for a much better show.

Sweet show Gary. ’08 is reported to be a killer vintage for OR pinot, whereas ’07 was quite mediocre… perhaps all a stellar producer like BF could muster was mere adequacy?
A word to the wise, in the NW we pronounce it “Or-reh-gehn” and not “Or-re-gone”. You got it right once though, so sorry to nitpick!
QOTD: Dinner for two at MASA in NYC.

QOTD – A trip to NYC and a visit to Wine Library 🙂 Sorry to be a suck-up, but I actually would love to visit NYC again. Haven’t been in over a year, beginning to have withdrawals. Also, I lived in in NJ for a summer, so I’d want to make it out there for old time’s sake anyway.

QOTD: (I can’t believe I got in the top 5! From the UK as well!!) Anyway, I have asked everybody that will get me a present (not many people)to buy me a bottle (or 2) of wine – that’s all I want. I find it fascinating to see what people think I may like in choosing my wine. Know what I mean? It’s like asking someone to buy you a cd right? You have to know something about the person and who they are. Anyway – am currently drinking an 08 Settesoli Aglianico from Sicily; it’s a cheap bottle but very nice, my first Aglianico experience as well (expand the pal my friends).
