Good show with a stonking anti-oak rant

Instantly, I knew that the Innocent Bystander was a winner. Even if the wine might have been terrible, the label was beautiful, and worthy of an 88 by itself. And,
I just want to make sure.
You didn’t like the Penley Shiraz?
QOTD? Whatever Santa brought me last year, I hope he has some more. We have been blessed with great kids and grand-children, relative good health, and manage to keep a fair amount of wine on hand.

I have a bottle of Innocent Bystander already waiting in the wings…I’m now quite looking forward to it. Merry Christmas all!

QOTD: Wine…but I’m not sure what or from where.

As for Australia…maybe it would be educational and interesting for you to do a full horizontal tasting of the Two Hands “Garden” Shiraz line up. They make Shiraz from all over Australia and it could be a very interesting way to evaluate what each region brings to the table. While not cheap by any means…it could still be very interesting and informative.

QOTD: a large wine refrig to store all the wine I’ve been buying from you guys…

May have to break down and by the Innocent Bystander though…

Please no wine. I’ve a massive hangover from last night. A 1998 GV Smaragd from Jamek, 2005 Künster Riesling Hölle Goldkapsel, 1976 Scheurebe Auslese from the Pfalz, 2006 Philipp Kuhn Merlot (Pfalz as well), 1999 Meyer-Näkel Spätburgunder “S” and some other great Pinots… Man, what a night.

Great show Gary! I’m stepping back from OZ wines in the last couple of years. To “boring” in gerneral. Except the Semillons from Hunter Valley. What do you think about them?

Santa will be bringing me just a great day with my expecting wife and family.

Good show. The last wine was a classic. Everything you hate. Glad the pinot was good at least. 90 points, fifteen bones, I may need to seek that out.

QOTD: How should I know what Santa will bring me? I’m sure it will be just fine, whatever it is, and I’ll be happy as long as the kids are.

    So where *is* SSChris?
