Santa brought me an iphone this year, so I will be engaging in a little podcast action as well. Also, I am in love with gourmet library?! I always enjoy the episodes where you get a little food and wine pairing going on. Now I can peruse cheeses at my leisure as well.

Have been working a tremendous amount, we have been super busy in the ER after Christmas.

Rang in the New Year at work, had a delightful sparkling apple juice, had scents and flavors of – – – apples.

Hope you had a great time, holidays around the ER are normally somewhat of a downer, this year was no exception.

I commented about my 30th birthday commemoration on December 28, but something crazy happened: on the 27th I ate something bad on the dinner and ended up at the hospital, pretty disappointing!! So no vino on my 30th birthday?

Yesterday I made that up, went to Mingus Restaurant with my girl and friends, there we had 2 very good bottles of wine, a 2005 Cape Mentelle from Margaret River ? Australia, and a 2006 Amalaya de Colomé from Salta ? Argentina. Both wines were great, and the food was amazing, my dish matched the wines with perfection: a pan roasted Lamb with Parmigiano risotto. Awesome! Nice start to 2010!!

I wish a GREAT, GREAT 2010 to you Gary, Mott, Sasha, Lizzie, Misha, AJ and the Vaynerchuk family, the WL Crew and the VAYNER-NATION!!!

Had a bottle of Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve NV…and it was the best NV Champagnes I’ve had from a large house (ever?). But the setting might have had everything to do with that!
