Gary Vaynerchuk is joined with Jimmy Trent, a longtime Vayniac and contest winner. He brought 2 Gran Reserva wines to try from the Utiel-Requena region of Spain.
lines of the day – ‘These wines are like 2 Golden Retrievers, ones a couple of years older. One chilling on the floor and the other one trying too hard, constantly bringing the ball back etc’ and ‘I know more about baseball than anyone in the world’
Absolutely classic episode with a good guest and loads of sports trivia. (For example ‘Jerome Bettis is the biggest choker in the history of sports’)
Go Gators! I love Kelly taking pictures in the background.

Good episode, an understated guest but does seem quite knowledgable.
Good question of the day – I am paid to be a respiratory therapist in a very busy pediatric emergency room. I do love my job and look forward to going to work
I am a reserve officer assigned to Criminal Investigations and assist by working the pawn shop detail. I also love doing that assignment.
I am very lucky compared to many folks I know.
If I could have a dream job, I think it would be a play by play announcer for my Texas Rangers.
Love the sports talk.
QOTD: I am a Project Manager for a large painting corporation. I would like to be a MLB Umpire.

Nice job Jimmy Trent!!

Great episode!! My first post for this show is prompted by Jimmy, great job man!
QOTD 1) ICU nurse in KC- Rock Chock Jayhawks out here!
2) I would love to own a vineyard and enjoy the whole winemaking process before
drinking the end result.
I get paid to be a computer Architect. That means I say what runs on what machines and how the whole mess fits together to make a system that does something. But what I love to do is to fly. I got my private pilots license a few years ago and can fly a single engine Cessna 172. However I would not want to be a professional or commercial pilot.
Great show, I love the idea of the guest just bringing some bargain wine they found and liked rather than raiding the shelves of Wine Library. Gary I agree with your comments about spain – I tend to think of it as a place that’s a bit lost (especailly in the Asian market).
QOTD: I’m a teacher and love it. But things I like more would include fishing and wine…
Cheers
Andrew

Hey Jimmy and Gary!
Great to see a Vayniak on the show! I think Gary was impressed with your tasting notes, I certainly was! It must be really nerve wracking saying anything when you’re actually sitting there in front of the camera with Gary!
QOTD: I used to run a non-profit social enterprise, now I’m a commodities trader. I’d love to run a restaurant similar to Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen (and to develop a special interaction between kitchen and dining room, encourage experimentation on both sides and expand palates).
Avi, that’s awesome. I bet it’s freakin awesome to fly a plane!
