Great show – I would love to try that Barbaresco, but it looks to be only available in the UK at approx £1000 for a case.

I don’t know what I’m missing, but I’ve never loved a malbec.. I generally find them way too hot.

I’m watching this show kinda late so I’m going into Friday as I check this out. To answer the QOTD, I hope I’ll be tasting some new wines this weekend. Right now, I’m into a bottle of Veramonte Primus 2006 (Chilean Cab, Syrah, Merlot, Carmenere blend) – its not bad but not as good as its been in previous vintages (still a solid value though). Why don’t you send a brother some Piedmonte or some big Napa? If you could hook up a solid like that, that’s what I’d be drinking this weekend.
