    what a BLN.

    Fantastic.

  • A dumb Rhein king

That was a long ep, but one of the better ones. I hear you Brandon when you talk about the farming ancestors, if you have it in your blood then there is nothing like a good hard day’s work out in the field.

    QOTD:
1 – Drinking wine with Sasha V. (IP kablock here I come …)
2 – Interning at a vineyard/winery that has a minimal approach to modern farming.
3 – Owning a Minnesota vineyard/winery that makes exceptional wines.
4 – Going on a west coast wine tour (really I just want to visit my buddy who moved out there a couple of years ago)
5 – Travel the world on a massive year long wine tour.

QOTD2: I don’t think that I ever given an epiphany wine.

  • A dumb Rhein king

Get out of here troller. You’ll be sorry when Sir V sees this! IP kablocks all around.

  • Guest episode = PPPPPPPPPPPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! – only 2 more guest episodes to go this year. It’s going to be a redonkulous Autumn!

  • Why all the knock on GV’s projects? Am I the only one that actually liked the Clone 5? 🙂

Also, I consider myself a huge Vayniac (although a lurker), Brandon was the only other Vayniac that has admitted to starting around #18 and then watching 1-18 before moving forward. I did the same. I started around #25, did 1-25 and haven’t stopped since.

I guess the moral of today’s story is: get more involved in the forum…and then you’ll get invited to awesome dinners!

  • This show was super long but held my interest.

    QOTD:

1.) Going to Bordeaux w/ Gary V and consuming all the legendary first growths in their respective Chateaux
2.) Going to Spain and drinking my way around the country… w/ Gary V
3.) Owning a winery in Sonoma County (my favorite wine area ever!!!)… and having Gary V as my consultant
4.) Going to Portugal and drinking amazing Port.. again w/ Gary V
5.) Owning my own wine shop in So Cal and having Gary V as my customer!

QOTD2: I have yet to give someone an epiphany-inducing wine. I am still young so that moment is coming.

Hockey? Anyone… NY Pete? How about the decision on Kovy today? How about Selanne coming back to the Ducks and maybe Kariya too? I am pumped to be a ducks fan in a totally east coast forum!

  • NY Pete

this will somewhat explain the stallion story …
    http://forums.winelibrary.com/viewtopic.php?f=7
damn Gary, you even posed with one of the bottles … 😛

  • I have a couple things to say. First, Gary you should totally do episode 1000 in Iowa. Come to Iowa City! I’ll be your point man on the ground here! Second, that was another really fun episode. It makes me wish I found WLTV years ago.

    QOTD(not necessarily in this order):
    1. Visit Burgundy/Beaujolais
    2. Visit Wine Library HQ
    3. Visit Kermit Lynch’s HQ
    4. Open my own wine bar/shop. Don’t worry Gary, just a small place.
    5. Drink wine with Mott

QOTD #2 I’ve turned a few peeps onto Alsatian Riesling this summer.

  • barbotus

Even I got a mention. Bwahahaha!!

  • JLVillacorta

To think… grape juice brought all these people together. It is amazing how much that simple drink has done.

    4. Watch a Devil’s game front row at the Stanley Cup
    3. Become a Master Sommelier

    1. Live happily with my soon to be wife and future children and see them become successful and do the things on their bucklists.

  • Lady L’egance
