So cool seeing Brandon on the show. Brandon seeing you on WLTV reminded me of the great time the wife and I had with you at Fort Mason. Any plans for another Fort Mason get together?

Gary, having a glass of wine with you is not on the list because I’ve already done that.

Nice stuff, Brandon. And the wines don’t look too bad, either. Seriously, good to see where you’re at and where you’re going. Like yourself, I’ve been behind a desk for way too long and it is sucking the life out of me. Keep up the good work.

QOTD: 1) Work a crush in Tuscany, spend a month touring the Northern and Southern Rhone, get on the Cayuse list, cultivate more passionate wine drinking friends, and retire in the northwest (WA or OR) and work a tasting room.

    2) I started my Dad on Caymus in the mid-90’s and he hasn’t looked back since.

GV–I remember several months ago you said you would do a post-show after the guest left where you’d score the wines honestly without them present.

I bring this up because I can’t recall, in 902 episodes, you ever scoring a guest’s wine below an 84 or 85. Maybe it’s because every single guest’s wine is B+ or better quality. But I kind of feel you’re too nice of a person and full honesty is not on display when a guest is in the room.
