    Yes.. you most certainly should do a book about your wine tasting… maybe add in some of your fav food/wine pairings also cus I’m all about that.
    Sancerre is great with the raw oysters-my fav so far is the Henri Bourgeois.
    Not a football fan ..can’t comment on that one. But I do hope Raphael Nadal wins the Tennis US Open

    Solid show! Great start to week, especially with a wine that’s not talked about too often.

    QOTD: I don’t think the Jet’s are doomed, at least for my Fantasy team’s sake (I have their D). Revis adds a depth that’s hard to replace, but Cromartie, Jackson, etc (rest of the Secondary) can fill the holes quick. I have high hopes, and after watching the Hard Knocks, wish them the best.

    Sorry Ray, but I can’t understand how ANYBODY can stand listening to the same Howard Stern show day after day after day after day……. I love sex but he makes it boring and inconsequential.

  • No Jets aren’t doomed any more than the Redskins will still be mediocre with or without Albert “Cry Baby” Haynesworth.

    Jets have too much else going for them. Will be on QB at the end of the day.

    QOTD1: Yes, of course I have Sirius. As soon as Howard Stern announced he was moving to Sirius, I got Sirius in my car. I’ve been commuting with Howard since 1988ish and I wasn’t going to miss a day.

    QOTD2: Ummm not quite as involved with the Jets as you may like. Sorry.

    I have a wine question. Does anyone know all 61 Bordeaux chateau from the 1855 Medoc Classification? I don’t want to have to learn all of them. I have a list as a reference. Learning all of them may be too much info for my pea brain to store. If I need to know them for any tests, I will have to get questions wrong. I’m ok with that.

    I can’t listen to it everyday, that’s for sure. I have to catch him when he has an interesting guest or the guys on the show are on a roll (prank phone calls, etc.). Howard has his days. Robin irks my everlasting nerve!!! But, to each his own. Not the only reason I have XM/Sirius.

    Great to hear someone go for it and give a genuine review. I am not sure about the situation in the US but here in Australia reading a wine review is like reading a self-help book…. always always always positive. I need some negative! I need to know the reviewer has a soul. Moreover, how can I know that the reviewer isn’t on some gravy train if he/she never pays out on a wine?
    Flavour, flavour, flavour… great wine. 4 stars.
    No, actually, that wine is a disaster!

    btw, Sancerre is a great favourite. I would liked to have seen a Didier D number in the mix, particularly one with a touch of timber, just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons.

    ps. The Sirius XM show sounds pretty interesting but the cost is a killer, no can do.

    I don’t get Sirius or XM, not worth it.

    Best wishes on radio – but missing your video of your personality, I listened to 3 shows and suggest you focus on the MIC when on radio. Your ADD works when we can see you looking around, but your voice trails and comes back. just input. (ex-professional spokesperson). but YOU CAN DO IT! (guess brown bag blinds are out, ugh?)
