Gary Vaynerchuk recently asked for show suggestions on the WLTV forums and ran with Weston’s idea to taste more Southern French whites. One of Jimkay’s suggestions come through as well! Gary decided to make it more interesting and taste blind!

line of the day – ‘Kinda smells like the back of a restaurant’

Gary was on point as usual with the blind tastings but Mott…what on earth are you talking about. you didn’t like ‘It’s a wonderful life’. That’s one of the best films ever made…and in fact my second favourite film of all time. Watch it again, please, with no distractions, and tell me you didn’t like it.

    AP. New Jersey. A rabid Jets fan was injured while celebrating their win this weekend when he was hit between the eyes with a Champagne cork. No Champagne was spilled, and bystanders said it was from an excellent vintage and was enjoyed by all.

  • Nothing. Wish you had come down. I tweeted him numerous times at different venues, (think sports/brew pubs) without a response. I guess he doesn’t like me though I’ve been with him from the get-go or maybe he thought meeting me was “bad karma.”

    What a heartbreaking loss after all the travel, money and no sleep. I got back to the hotel at midnight, had to get up at 4am to catch a 6am flight with a bunch of obnoxious Jets fans back to DC. I am recovering as we speak with a nice glass of NZ SB only to see GV is still out celebrating!

    The agony of loving a football team. I need to take up piano.

    I thank God every day that there are no more Christmas songs or Christmas movies on the radio and TV. I just found the Dashboard on Discus. Thanks for the Happy Holiday wishes. I hope yours were spectacular, capped by the sensational Jets game. I’m sorry for ever doubting the Jets. My holidays were different than usual due to an accident and lots of ongoing recovery time; the tree is still up and all the decorations, but at least there’s no music (the Christmas kind)

    Sounds like you had a great time regardless. I do wish I would have come down, it would have been a blast. I know Indianapolis very well and there a a couple places that rock and have some great wines. Hope your all recovered now, lokoking forward to a great year.

    Gary…on your recommendation we ordered 2 bottles of the St. Cosme Cotes Du Rhone Blanc. We just had it with “Rigatoni and mussels with saffron” from one of Jaques Pepin’s cookbooks. It was OUTSTANDING. GREAT wine and GREAT paring.
