QOTD: I’ve really enjoyed using this show to help educate myself on the world of wine. I watch every episode posted during the week and catch up on a few old ones every weekend. I’d guess i’m in the 400episodes range.

    Seen every show.

  • QOTD. Around 300

Gary — I’m sorry to respond with such a doofus comment, but is there any way that Mott could boost the recording level of the show? I listen at work on a laptop. The intro music and your introduction are nice and loud, but the rest of the show is pretty soft. Due to weird logistics, my computer is in a docking station 4 feet away from me and I sometimes have trouble hearing with it turned all the way up. Now, I know you shouldn’t do anything for one odd viewer, but if you’ve heard anything from other folks, please add my comments to theirs. With that said, I love your show — keep up the good work. I like the 4-bottle format a little better than the 2-bottle tight shows you are experimenting with, but you be you!

Cool, wasn’t expecting a barbera di alba show! And look, got a little heads up on the Giacomo Vico bottle I will be tasting soon. I was very surprised by another italian wine last week: Nero d’Avola from Pulpito. Another show maybe?

QOTD: Discovered your site 1 month ago, guess I did 80 episodes 🙂

Cool show. I’d have to guess close to the 200 range.

  • QOTD: It is starting to get up there like 250 or so. Ever since I started downloading to the ipod I can fill all my downtime with wine library fun time. Is there a way to get the old archive shows on itunes? It seems like only the most recent ones are available.

    Once again playing catch-up.
    QOTD: 700 anyway.

  • QOTD. 972. All of them. And many more than once. Advantages of working from home and having lunch in front of the computer…

75 to 150 shows for me. I’ve been a fan for a long time. I leave, then come back, leave, then come back… could be upwards of 200 maybe.

  • QOTD: Not 100%, but probably around 600-700.

Love the Piedmont shows!! I have been a fan of Vietti since the first bottle I have had, and just two days ago I drank a 08 Vietti barbera d’alba tre vigne, the slightly lower bottling, and it was very, very intriguing.

    QOTD; approx 300

QOTD – probably about 725 shows… which means I have WASTED about 200 hours or about 8-9 days watching this JUNK!

    Keep it up!

Italy lover and massive Barbera fan – great value across price points. Great show.

    QOTD is a good one… maybe 200?

  • Hey Gary

Good show and good wines. Apart from making some of the best wines in Pietmonte surely Viette also has to have some of the best labels????

QOTD: Easy 976 (I’m watching this a bit later as I have to wait to the weekend to watch the episodes as I can’t watch them at work)

    Cheers
    Andrew

QOTD: An easy one for me. As of this show, episode 971, I’ve seen 971 episodes.

Started watching in July 2006 around Episode 60, but at that time watched all of them. Sometimes, like now, I fall a few episodes behind, but I absolutely, always, watch every one!

    Love ya Gary.

I love Barbera and it is definitely still too far under the radar. Funnily enough I saw the Cigliuti Campass at a store in the UK just after watching this show… went to buy it, until I realised they were charging £25!

QOTD – Probably 700… I’ve seen at least every episode since 350.

    QOTD: I’d guess I’ve seen about 600. I’m catching up. 😉

QOTD: 750 or so. I went back to review shows I missed, but still haven’t managed to catch some of the high 300s, low 400s.

  • I’d say about 500 at least. Maybe closer to 600. It feels both sad and bad *ss to think about that.

  • All of them!
