This is my favourite episode ever. As a fellow Jets fan, that is exactly how I felt and exactly as I acted. We’re not greedy – just one Superbowl will do. Just one.

” In victory, deserve it. In defeat, need it ” SWC Ok, it’s for Champagne but, much quicker with Bourbon. I’m sorry for the lost, they did great on 2nd half and had a great year.

Sorry. Gary, thou dost love thy Jets too much.

  • Damn. I wish you would have reviewed this bourbon. I’ve been wanting to taste it for a while but only selling in 375’s is lame so I haven’t picked one up.

Cheers Gary…Rex will have the boys back in form…that is whenever a new CBA is done and football season restarts…

A wish for good luck and success next year.

  • Your Jets gave a hell of a fight and went down with heads held high. I foresee a Superbowl in their near future.

  • awww… I’m so sad for you, Gary! I don’t even like FB, but I can see it has devastated you. 🙁

  • I wish you would have reviewed the bourbon, too…but I understand Gary! At least you are easing your pain with quality…Rex Ryan and M. Sanchez are awesome and fought well in these Playoffs.

I’m sorry, Gary. Nothing like the feeling of when your team is out, especially so close to the promised land. Next year, NYJ v NYG Super Bowl.

  • Neil McNamara

Now that the Jets have put their feet in the deep end of the pool they won’t be tip-towing next year but will hit the ground running a step ahead of the pack.

Buck up, Gary! It was a tough game and I was rooting for your Jets but no one likes to see someone like this. You had a great run, you’ll come back next year!

  • Gold! Pure Gold!!! HILARIOUS!

  • On the bright side, GV you should put in a purchase offer on the Jets today, asap! Probably get ’em for a deeeeep discount.

  • Dude.. longest 5 minutes of my life… hang in there… you be a Raider’s fan like me 😉

  • I am a Redskins fan from way back. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this heartbroken by a loss so it’s difficult for me to remember this *kind* of pain- but I empathize completely Gary.

Sorry Gary. We know how much that meant to you.

Hard to watch GV. Sorry. Kept hoping they would pull it out in the second half but you just can’t let the Steelers get ahead by 24. Hope the bourbon was at least good.

  • I tried to tell you it was coming. But I will say, good game. And better luck next year. As long as you aren’t playing the Steelers, I’ll root for y’all. 🙂

Maybe the greatest WLTV episode in history. Best would have been no wave at the end, just get up, grab the Bourbon, and walk out of the shot.

  • Duuuuuude. Breaks my heart just to see you like this! 🙁

  • If it makes you feel any better, I pre-ordered “Thank You Economy” today.

You will feel much better after you finish off that bottle of Bourbon.
In fact, you’ll be feeling real good.

My heart broke twice yesterday: Bears and then the beloved J-E-T-S…sorry amigo…less than 30 days before pitchers and catchers report and maybe makes Jets franchise less desirable to own and let you buy in 🙂

  • Your feelings are totally understandable and I think I speak for everyone when I say, I hate to see you like that Gary but count your blessings, my friend. You’ve got so many other great things going for you to be excited about and it’s only going to get better. You’ll see. Cheers!

I hate f**king football. That is all.

  • Keep drinking bourbon and I’ll be here daily!

  • Allison

Wow dude… I’m feelin’ your pain today. My Bears lost the battle yesterday too. To top it all off, our franchise QB is being raked over the coals by media and ex-players alike. Tough day for all. I broke out the good stuff for an occassion like this – dipped into my stash of Macallan 18. Tomorrow is another day…
