I think all the interesting information got a bit lost in Tim’s relentless advertising of his new product. GV was desperately trying to broaden the discussion but most of the time Mr Mondavi brought it back to Continuum – (hell he didn’t even let his daughter get a word in edgeways). Shame because obviously there’s a wealth of experience and history that could have made an even better show. I wanted to hear a bit more of what Carrisa had to say. Let’s hope the wine doesn’t suck in part two !

In the future, if the episode is long, try the wine in the beginning!

Both of you had too much to say! I mean I would excited as well but it certainly was a back and fourth. Needless to say, a lot of information was dolled out.

  • Tim is very well spoken… loved is take on the history of Napa from the 1900s on…

Can’t wait till Part 2 and the TASTING!!!

    GV,
I love you man, but you need to shut the hell up as a freakin’ Mondavi is trying to answer the question you ask.

first 2 parter of the year? nice.

Holy Cow G. Can you let Dude get a word in?

  • Privileged people huh. Comodity or art? Nah, I would say craft, not art. Art is often few peoples opinion. Craft can anyone do, better or worse. Good craftsmen/women will always have a good product to sell, artist not, not even great artists.
Not fined, not filtered, hmm, well try it then, try it!!!

  • well Danes anyway, haha

  • well the man is not short of words either…

  • what the F%=k is wrong with Tim Moldavi? let your daughter speak for more then 5 seconds!!!! what kind of century does he live in anyway, when not trusting/or letting women speak in public especially his own daughter…

lol, i take it back. Shut him up G. He’s telling you what to think about the wine sitting on the table in front of you. Just drink the damned wine already.

    I’m gonna make a predicton. $135 89pt wine.

Grate show GV and Tim and Carissa.
Awesome guest! Tim is very engaging.

  • I’m not going to lie.. I always skim through these Part 1s when I know they aren’t tasting the wine. I’m sure the guests are lovely people, but I just don’t care that much… Looking forward to the wines.

Nice to have the history but geez…let the woman speak. Plus no wine tasting. Really looking forward to the next episode.

I did like that Tim spoke about the availability and approachability of wine. However, at $150 – I don’t know many folks who will be approaching HIS wine.

You are being overly judgmental. It was probably unintentional. And watch your languge !

  • yes, drink it, god damn, drinkt it !

  • Anonymous

He corrected himself. Good God I would like to see you critical guys in the thunder seat. I doubt you could make a coherent noise let alone speak error free. You should listen to yourself back on tape sometime.

  • Anonymous

    Very true!!

Vikings are always welcome. : ) Right gary?

  • Anonymous

The Dude needs to let the daughter speak also! :O

  • Interesting first part. Very Interesting guests… let’s see how the wine does in part II.
