Question for you: 1) If you could only drink one bottle/style/vintage of Riesling(currently available) for the rest of your life…what would it be?

Great Show. As a second generation Wolverine (Univ of Michigan) I was smiling a bit when MSU got thrashed. But despite the rivalry, I’ll be rooting for them this weekend. Michigan could use something to celebrate with everything else going down the toilet (with the Spartan Wine).

Are you going to do the California bio-dynamic show you mentioned in the episode with Joly?

Brutal for Mich. State, but it’s not exactly the best place to try to grow wine grapes. They could source some good white grapes from up north maybe…

QotD: Bowling Green State University. Gotta go with the alma mater.

I didn’t drink wine when I went to Penn State just cheap beer. My palate has changed and my belly has flattened since the college years.

Cornell University!! My alma matter. They have a very dedicated wine education program and an even better hockey team. Lets go red!!

Gary – you should go there sometime, and of course visit the wineries in the Finger Lakes.

Gary. Great show. Been out of action for a while, just getting back into the swing, and it’s great to see you are still kicking out the serious thunder. Thanks for that. You’re a good man.

Clever show with the college tie-in. Your reaction to the Michigan State wine was the same one I had when Sparty beat Louisville last week. Blew my brackets up.

    Welcome back Gary!

Fun show! At least some of the wines came out nice.

The college kids probably have a lot to learn still.

    Chill!

QOTD: We do not have colleges up here in Québec. We have CEGEPS, which are gov’t run, and Universities. Big cheers to Champlain College (which is ironically a CEGEP) and to Bishop’s University, both of which I attended (about 10 years ago-God I’m old!)

    Cheers!

Good to see you back in the saddle. Love the reaction to the MSU bottle. That might have been the most genuine reaction ever on WLTV.
