    I see a huge difference in Gary’s confidence for episodes in the 170s’ versus this old one. It is like his passion for wine and comfort with the medium drastically changed.

    Now he is destined for greatness. Back then Gary was on a tv show pilot that might not make it.

    Well done on the continual improvement. This whole set up is a good idea from a marketing perspective.

    Well done to whomever created the concept. You have the right guy starring as well.

    There are some strange comments ahead of me. Gary…keep doing your thing regardless of how many people are watching. Of course, the number of people watching may have an impact on business, but still…do your thing. I like you’re video wine blog better than the others! Wait, there are others?? It is always easiest to criticize from the outside.

    I love wine tasting parties. I have a circle of friends that I meet up with for tastings every few months. We pick a different theme each time and just have a blast.

    I’m a casual wine drinker. I won’t say what my favorite wine is, as it’s not the most expensive and might be considered trite by wine enthusiests such as yourself. Ruinitie is the label, though.

    Anyway, the video was very informative, especially considering the Menage a’ Trois rouge. My daughter’s boyfriend gifted us with a bottle this Christmas (along with a bottle of W&J Graham’s Three Grapes Porto).

    Where I wasn’t at all sure about Menage a’ Trois, though, I went websurfing and found your site. It was very educational, although I was a bit curious with how you judged flavor, bouquet (nose?), etc. Yet, what you did not say in your video – and maybe this is no news to wine enthusiests such as you and your friends – is at what temperature should the Menage a’ Trois be served? As I mentioned earlier, I am a casual drinker, so casual that I’m more inclined to not drink than to imbide, maybe averaging one glass a month, if that, so as one might expect, I’m clueless about serving temps for certain wines.

    Anyway, thank you for considering your response and I hope you have a great New Years.

    We can not get enough of The Other red here. It is becoming so hard to find in Texas. That wine is amazing. WE had a wind tasting and this one won hands down.
    I am happy I came upon this site. I have a bottle of the Menage a trois rouge just sitting in the wine rack. I must try it now.

    On the recommendation of one of our sons, we bought a few bottles of Menage de Trois red and white.
    We were pleased to see that you did a review w aaaaaaaaaa y back when on the wine.
    The wine apparently tasted pretty good back then, and the 2007 Red which we are currently enjoying, is…… spot on. It’s price point is still in the $11.00 range, and taste is smooth, and a pleasure to drink.
    We look forward to the white………if it ever gets warm.

    i jumped around for a while watching episodes that caught my eye. now im starting from the beginning and working my way up filling in all the blanks. at the same time still catching all the new episodes. so since im watching things now from the beginning and the latest stuff, its been fun to watch the contrast and see how you’ve changed, from opening the show to everything else, tween now and then.

    I was thinking the theme was all wines priced at $10.99, but the first one came in at $8.99. Guess it was blends. Assuming Jim Beam is a blend since you mentioned the background as well.
