What no intro?? Boy this was the most comments to date I think.. Have had the Togni at a wine tasting event I believe, good stuff, and did drink a bottle of the 2002 Aida, was great, drank it a year later than this episode. QOTD-that's a stupid question. http://www.winelx.com

    I thought I saw a thread indicating that they had tested this. I feel like we’re back in the days when you would get really frustrating trying to stream video with a dial-up connection. Not exactly Web 2.0.

    I hope it’s not as big of a bust as the Victoria’s Secret superbowl half time show. No pun intended.

    Isn’t this what happened when Victoria’s Secret tried a live fashion show over the Internet? And didn’t the great Steve Jobs have trouble the first time Apple tried a live stream of a Jobs keynote. Now we have a new episode in server meltdowns: a guy spitting out wine in front of a locked off camera with the charisma of Steve Jobs and the sex appeal of models in underwear.

  • Guess we all hit Gary’s servers a bit too hard today. I’m sure he did everything he could to work the bugs out before today’s debut. I’ll check back again L8R.

    I give a brother some love for trying. Given that it’s the first time attempting to go live, let’s cut the WLTV folks some slack. I agree with Lawrence…let’s all uncork a bottle and comment *live* on what we’re drinking. Seems only fair to serve as a wingmen/women at this time.

    I was hoping to see how things worked out since I am considering doing live shows on eBob. I see that things aren’t working to well for you. I guess I won’t be trying to implement live TV on eBob any time soon. Work out the kinks and call me when you are going to try again.

    What? You donâ??t see the video? Itâ??s amazing, right now GaryV is interviewing Robert Parker about this yearâ??s Bordeaux futures and theyâ??ve got a few barrel samples to taste through. After that, GaryV said he plans on having a quick entertainment piece with the Dave Matthews band live in studio. I think Dave even brought some of his own wines to taste. Iâ??ll keep you updated.
