What no intro?? Boy this was the most comments to date I think.. Have had the Togni at a wine tasting event I believe, good stuff, and did drink a bottle of the 2002 Aida, was great, drank it a year later than this episode. QOTD-that's a stupid question. http://www.winelx.com

I’m heading home soon to decant tonight’s wine. Can’t decide between Brunello or Bordeaux. I’ll try later from the home PC. GV will be back, we just don’t know when.

    Gary-
Maybe we can getting this working
    AFTER your vacation?
Looks like this LIVE stuff just got put on
    HOLD?
    Happy Vacation!
    🙂

In the tradition of Adam from Mythbusters I give it a 50% chance of giving up & taping a new apology episode of WLTV, a 30% chance of it working hours later after people start giving up on it, and a 20% chance of the server bursting into flames and having absolutely no WLTV for the next few weeks

I’m begininng to think this is Gary’s idea of a WLTV viewr’s IQ test. But like a moron I keep hitting refresh. Well… off I go to refresh…

    Whats the big deal?

No longer a lurker. Why? I’m appalled at the majority of these comments. Listen to yourselves. There should be an age requirement to log on. I’m with Lawrence and Mathew L. so I’m breaking into the office wine stash right now and popping something good. Gary, your awesome. What’s that? Can’t hear me yet? No worries. Still AWESOME!!! I’m looking forward to your next endeavor. Kudos to those who are behind Gary all the way.

Relax, i’m sure they’re working on it..It’s not like you paid for it. There’s no way a test with a handful of people could have prepared them for what is probably well over 100. And everytime people keep reloading, it just makes it worse.

  • wayne530

the link should be: tv winelibrary com/live/live

  • Yep, I need to make dinner and if I drink the whole bottle I’m working on dinner may be as fried as Gary’s server. Have a good night follks.

Welcome to WEB 1.0 – Well at least this is one comment board I am sure GV wont be reading! oh well heck its only 30 minutes of my life I will never get back- Anyway keep your head up little Bucko

  • RandyB

I score this episode a big P-A-Z-Z-Z. That is unless the server goes back up.

just had a little blind tasting with the wife (as she walked in the door from work). Decanted a 2004 Pinot from Jipe winery in New Zealand and kept the other bottle unopened (same wine). 10 bucks it cost me… what a difference the decanting made! The nose, taste everything was better! Imagine doing this to say… a nice 50$ Shiraz from Two hands.

I was reading the weekly Cringely blog about ISPs, Google and Internet bandwidth in one browser tab while clicking refresh in the tab with Wine Library TV Live. While waiting, it’s interesting reading:

  • Hi Everyone,
Sorry about all of this – We are having INCREDIBLE technical problems and are working to get something up shortly. If it is possible can all of you logout of winelibraryTV and come back in 15 minutes … but the most important thing – please don’t keep hitting refresh as that is causing additional problems. Thanks so much for understanding!

  • MiamiDolphins

calling it a night, more bandwidth for those who want to keep hitting the refresh buttom.

Good luck, and hoping this gets resolved

  • JimZak
