I agree with dr mike #39.. now that you’ve gone inside, re-taste and see if your notes match up.

Your best episode to date, G. Not as good as some of the recaps that we’ve seen, but this si pure entertainment… and congrats on keeping it together. We’re covered in ice here in DC… maybe I’ll mix some up for some sangria. Good luck withr your pneumonia.

  • KAHUNA

Wow- I am shocked- My little elf out in the weather- “Just when I think you couldn’t be possibly any dumber You go and do something like this and totally redeem yourself”

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnkefjCES-4

    Simply awesome!

QOTD: When the Giants won the super bowl in 1987 we “took” an snow day it actually snowed the night before and went to the stadium for the celebration- Then we were stupid enough to wear the “We were there Buttons” to school the next day- Needless to say our principal was none too happy

  • Justmarsh

Greatest episode of WLTV ever! You should have made wine snow cones though! How cool would it have been to take the wine of the year and put it through the ‘ol Snoopy Snow Cone maker?

  • Favorite episode yet…so hilarious and made my day so much better. The flying wine glass was classic and I can’t wait to show this to some friends. You rock. Keep it up. Next episode…drinking wine while wearing a valour jumper and jogging through the streets of India?

    Gary,

You are nuts. My biggest fear with wine on a day like this is doing a faceplant on the ice carrying home a bottle. I would not expect to be pelted in the face by sleet while tasting. I am passing this episode along because it is awesome.

    Gary,
You are a Maniac! That was absolutely Hilarious!!! I don’t think a lot of folks picked up on the subltety of your efforts. How does weather affect wine? Too much fun. Nice wines, too bad they are sold out. I was actually thinking of buying some of the Casanova di Neri.
QOTD: Snow Day while a junior at Siena College in Loudonville (near Albany)NY. Classes cancelled, played all day in the snow. LOTS of fun tackling co-eds and getting a surruptitious grope through the snow suits. Snow football, snow frisbee etc. Awesome.

  • Remember, the Swedish have a saying: “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes.”

Amazing episode, it’s on Digg for anyone asking it to go viral, look here.

Today’s half snow day might be the best ever since it’s the first time IU-Bloomington has been closed for any length of time for snow since 1978.

Talk about taking one for the team! Great job Gary. I needed a lift on this crappy, icy day. Too bad the Mollydooker is sold out, but I will keep an eye out on WL for it.

QOTD: Growing up in Michigan there were many great snow days, but once in the early 1980s…maybe 1981 or 1982…we got so much snow that it knocked out power for almost two weeks. My parents were determined to rough it out in the house. We cooked all our meals in the fireplace, and I made a huge 8 foot igloo in the front yard. Great times.

  • BV

I think you coulda used Lars out der.

    Who was holding the sign?

Did you try Mollydookersicles after the show?

Dunno about your request — Viral happens. You can’t hurry love, and ya can’t force viral.

QOD – Hands down, the Ice Storm of ’48. I was a widdle kid. ALL of New Jersey was shut down for days.

    Good show!
