Gary, you are one crazy man! Congrats on one of the classic WLTV episodes ever. Interesting, I just got an e-mail from another wine store regarding the Casanova Neri Brunello Tenuta Nuova 2001.

Outstanding! The glass and bottles levitating across the table added a nice touch. Watch out where them winetasters go and don’t you eat that purple snow.

QOTD-We don’t have snow days in South Louisiana, so this episode is my favorite snow day. I was waiting for the “tuck rule”.

This is one of the classics. Some great wine saves there! I feel sorry for the board holder in the background- dodging spit and freezing his ass off! QOD: I’m watching this from warm, sunny Los Angeles, the only Snow Day I’m familiar with is the bad movie.

QOD- New Year’s Day 1999 saw 30+ inches of snow in Chicago while I was in L.A. for the Rose Bowl game. I was stranded in L.A. for two extra days where it was 70-75 degrees. It took awhile for my wife to let me off the hook for that bit of Karma. Plus, my team, the Wisconsin Badgers pounded the heavily favored UCLA after sports anchor Craig James called the Badgers the “worst team ever” to play in the Rose Bowl. Great memories.

Gary! Hope you are doing fine after all this coldness!

QOD – Mount Charleston, near Las Vegas, it’s a great place to see a lot of snow. Have you been there?

Oh, QOTD: My favorite snow day was the only snow day I had in college. It was 2000, my freshman year at RIT, and the wind chill was something like -30F, not to mention snow drifts above 3rd floor windows.

That was the only day during my 4 years at RIT that we had a snow day. And it was glorious.
