Looking forward to this. Aussie Shiraz is my cup of…err…wine.

GV you rock! I watched the Sherry episode not to long ago and had to get off my butt to start dinner. I came back to post my comment and what do I see before me!! Another NEW episode! WOOT 😀 I’m anxious to hear what you’ve got to say about these shiraz’s also… I do really like the fruit bombs (they popped my cherry or grape rather into the world of wine)

oh and Sherry, never knew it was even remotely that complex and DRY? wth lol that shocked me 🙂

Price points are a little out of my range for a fruit bomb.

GV, do you ever think of waiting to check the scores from Parker, etc. until after you taste the wines? It seems like you are setting youself up for some frame error if you know other scores before you taste. I know when you are in the retail world it is hard to avoid finding out, but it seems like you would have a cleaner slate if you were to taste the wines before taking a look at the scores.

I visited the Adelaide area last year. Especially impressed with the dental color effect which actually panicked me for a few hours until I realized it was temporary. I guess those guys really pack the pigment into the bottle! I like the GV300 plus vibe, especially the information you’re providing. Enjoyed the Dolcetto episode alot too! Good info.
