You BIG TEASE!! I went from being crestfallen at the prospect of no more Maniac for the Vayniacs to sheer bliss. Your brand of suspense makes Stephen King look like a second rate typesetter. Absolutely brilliant idea, color me there!

  • Good stuff, Gary — and for someone who lives around the corner from Napa, I’m excited about the potential to be involved in most of the process. That being said, really thought you might throw your support to one of the unheralded varietals, like, say albarino (something about which I am in total agreement, though people probably think both of us are crazy.) Perhaps that is down the line once the cab serves as a proof of concept.

Wine Library Vayniac 2007 Cabernet, eh? It’s got a nice ring to it! We GOTTA give it the ol’ “Sniffy-sniff and a Whirl!”

I’m already plotting some label designs… LOL!

    This is exciting news!

It certainly is the logical next step, considering how you feel about your peeps.

And these reactions tell the tale!

Good move, Gary! I’ve been making my own wines from Napa/Sonoma fruit for 6 years now and there is no way to describe how rewarding it is. You simply have to do it to understand. Brush up on your biochemistry, Gary.

You got me, I was on the edge of my seat and was definitely not disappointed. Never saw this coming but it makes perfect sense with the values you’re always talking about- community and fun. This is really exiting! Woo! Thanks Gary.
