Zinfandel! I love the big in your face Zins. Glad you corrected yourself on the “Red” issue. I know this was a marketing issue several years back when White Zins were first popular and people bought Zins thinking they were getting pink. If memory serves me, Fetzer was the first big producer to use Red in front of Zinfandel. A good tasting for the future might be to do Zins from one producers with different appellations, such as Revenswood, Rosenblum, or even Cline (I really like their vineyard designates. Ordering my lurker shirt today, in true lurker fashion I waited for free shipping!

Love this Episode #316 – Highly rated Zinfandel. Bought half a case of the 04 Ravenswood Old Hill. When do you think it’ll peak at? I am fan of New World Zin and Old World Bordeaux.

Zin has always been one of my favorite grapes. Wish I could get something like that here. (I am in Serbia presently).
