  • GARY!

I’m watching this episode while WEARING YOUR DAMN DODGEBALL SHIRT! Please let this end the whiney-boy “nobody loves my dodgeball t-shirt” rant!

QOD: I write software, do a radio show about the wine industry, I raise two gorgeous kids, I take classes toward becoming a winemaker, and I drink wine from time to time.

Remember, it’s not the resveratrol, it’s the procyanidins!

Good show. Probably a little too expensive for my meager/lack of income (see QOTD) but if I ever feel like treating myself, looks good.

QOTD: Seminary student at Princeton Theological Seminary. And a super avid baseball fan.

I’m recently retired; I was a Speech/Language Pathologist, now I take care of my mother who is at a retirement facility but still needs a fair amount of attention, swim, listen to music, read, go on trips with my friends, drink wine with my husband and friends, play with my cats, am in charge of the gardening committee for the common area at my condos (just 15 condos, shouldn’t be too difficult but is) , supervise workmen who come for various projects at my home, paint doors, add to my xeric garden area, read, study French, take ditch walks with friends, go to the Gym, cook, go to the movies (3:10 to Yuma is great), play bridge on the computer, shop on-line, go to the grocery store, and watch Gary.

QOTD: I’m a full-time student(my last semester in the CKC) and I’m a part time bank teller. I like to dabble in writing and wine, sometimes even both at the same time.

Great show today. I’ve had a lower priced Zinfandel from Ravenswood and absolutely loved it, so if I could afford the pricier one, I’d get it. But a great number of the wines that you try, I’m not able to locate because I can’t get them shipped to Massachusetts, and the wine shops around me aren’t that sophisticated and usually only carry Yellowtail and Sutter Home, but I make due with what I can find. It’s not much, but I can only afford a couple bottles a week anyway.

RAVENSwood was a great choice of a wine today. Thanks for the nod to the Ravens, and the wood they laid on Clemens. Caw! Caw! The wine colored jerseys from Baltimore are bringing the thunder baby!

QOTD: I do…. books, rivers, sports, and numbers. I am a mathematician for a scientific research institute; in my spare time I devour the non-fiction aisles of libraries, kayak & canoe the mountain streams of the mid-Atlantic, run track & field, lift weights, play volleyball, and raise 2 teenagers as a divorced father. (and, *ahem*, I’m also currently between girlfriends, just in case there are any female Vayniacs out there looking for a wine-loving athletic polymath outdoorsman who worships the Flying Spaghetti Monster…)
