QOTD: Right now- I eat mini wheats outta the box. 40 hrs a week- I work at a wine and cheese gourmet shop. Whenever I can – I am a professional actor. In the shower- I sing along to the radio. In my car – I talk to the other cars. 50 times a say – I check my email. 10 times a day – I hug my boyfriend. 2+ times a day – I guiltlessly eat cheese. etc. etc.

I work full-time in a ‘wine&spirits’ shop.My main job is head of specialty cheeses,but I also sell wine,craft beers(we have around 150)spirits and gourmet products.My goal in life is to educate and enlighten others about food and drink.I have around 500 cookbooks and can’t seem to stop buying them. I also have vintage cocktail and wine books. If you don’t have a copy of “Gods,Men& Wine” by William Younger, you should seek it out.A must-have for the oenophile.
I’m also a personal chef,which I enjoy immensly.

Ha! Great show. I used to dis the zin pretty hard. Had several recommended to me that I hated. Then last week in Newport Beach on my vacation,I had the Montelena Zin and loved it. Perfect with what I have to say was the best steak of my life. Too bad you were sold out by the time I watched the show. I guess I can get some somewhere else

QOTD: I’m trying to be an opera singer. In the meantime, I wait tables at two places. Gives me a bigger wine list to get familiar with. The markup on wine boggles my mind. Hint to all you out there. Sometimes the corkage fee is a bigger bargain than buying the wine off the list at the restaurant.

Great Show Gary! As per the QOTD: I’m a full time student at a SUNY (state university of New York) school, where I major in Geography and minor in Urban Studies.

QOTD: Travel Nurse specializing in ER and ICU. My dad has been trying to get me into wine for about 6 years. I found this site a few months ago through Diggnation and Kevinrose.com and have been hooked ever since.
