Gary, I think the color looked good on the Selvapiana, but couldn’t tell with the brown shirt for a background. Bust out a white Jets shirt for us. 😉

QOTD:The only other show that might come close to WLTV is the World Cafe Live. In my world, wine and music are a great combination!
Complements on an informative show on Chianti. There are so many other Chianti’s that are much better than the Ruffino and Antinori selections as you indicate. I can’t wait to try the Selvapiana. Thanks again for your insights.

Honestly, WLTV is the only vlog i really watch. Every now and then i get roped into that Vimeo chick mainly because of her attitude/looks. I watch you for the wine… not your looks…

Just ordered a bottle of the thunder Chianti from WL, cant wait to try it!

My god is there another WINE show on the internet???

As for the Chiantis I’ve had the Peppoli; nose and taste was awful. The bottle wasn’t bad but I had a funk that I couldn’t take and I have four dogs.
I have loads of the 2001 Ruffino Ducale Oro Resvera $28.95 Costco; to die for. And a HUGE Chianti fan and will seek out the Salvapiana.

Agree with others that there is only WLTV.

Cool Chianti show. I’ve always enjoyed the Nozzole Riservas at a similar (~$20) price point. Toscolo is a good cheapie too.

QOTD: Nothing. Get a kick out of punching different searches into YouTube, but that’s about it.

You can’t imagine how it felt to have my opinion of Ruffino affirmed here. It used to be the only Chianti on the shelf, outside of Bolla, at my small town liquor store, and I could never understand why. There is a world of Tuscan wine that people never experience because of the swill that continues to float over from huge producers. I wish I sold in Jersey…I’d bring in a few of our Tuscans. Anyway, great job, and I’m ordering one of the Selvapiana; I’ve never seen it our market.

QOTD: WLTV is the only “show” I watch on the Internet. I sometimes check out the short info clips at Wine Spectator, but other than that and news clips, nothing. I can’t remember how I found this thing either.

WLTV takes all my viewing time. Is there another wine show on so regularly of such quality? I haven’t found anything.

Ditto on the Ruffino…I get customers ALL the time who are like Ruffino zombies…”take me to your Ruffino…” especially around the holidays. Drives me nuts. A great Chianti Classico I’ve tried lately and LOVE is the Livernano from Leonardo Locascio…great wine, great packaging and around $20.
