I’m starting to like Sir GV. Go old world!

Have had lots of Sancerre rouge, mostly while in France (summer / srping dinners)… and have usually associated the pinot in Sancerre rouge with an earthier gamay given the lightness in body compared to Burgundy pinots (I guess that since gamay is a mutation of pinot noir, it makes a little bit of sense).

QOTD: Because watching Sir G talk about wine is as fun and educational as watching my grandmother massage her … well, nevermind.

QOTD: I watch because while craft beer always seemed very approachable to me, wine did not..until I started watching this show. I have learned so much and get excited about wine now!

Now that was an interesting contrast. Please bring Sir V back once a week as the eclecticism is appreciated and the contrast only enhances our overall enjoyment of your multi-faceted character. As for the Loire, I’ve lived there for a few months, and spent some time in the limestone caves sampling Vouvray. Thank you for the sedate episode. Let’s invite him back one day a week please.
