    nice change of pace. although I just couldn’t help but laugh at some parts. especially the bit about hollywood.

    qotd:

    I’m starting to like Sir GV. Go old world!

    Have had lots of Sancerre rouge, mostly while in France (summer / srping dinners)… and have usually associated the pinot in Sancerre rouge with an earthier gamay given the lightness in body compared to Burgundy pinots (I guess that since gamay is a mutation of pinot noir, it makes a little bit of sense).

    QOTD: Because watching Sir G talk about wine is as fun and educational as watching my grandmother massage her … well, nevermind.

    GV! Let the ThunderShow roll! And please don’t ever take an acting class – you will lose all credibility. Even for a Jets fan.

    QOTD: 1. because Gary is honest; doesn’t parrot the wine makers’ blurbs, doesn’t praise wine just to sell it 2. memorable and vivid nose and taste descriptions 3. ability to joke with a straight face 4. the loose canon aspect – he might say or do anything

    QOTD – why do I watch Wine Library TV?

    TOP TEN Answers:
    1. It’s the only internet show they allow us to watch in prison;
    2. I keep hoping for a secret code word for free shipping;
    3. My kids made it my home page and I don’t know how to change it;
    4. I’m looking to make a fortune on buying the next wine Gary Vaynerchuk gives a score of 98+;
    5. I get turned on by the phrase: “Mott, link it up”;
    6. My Facebook friends think it is really really cool;
    7. I’m hoping that if I can pronounce “Sancerre” and “Loire” the bartender will not look at my ID and notice that I’m only 17;
    8. I like hearing someone else say “the Jet’s suck” for a change;
    9. I keep hoping Gary V. will break out in a Riverdance like Jonathan Papelbon.
    AND, the number one reason I watch wine library tv:

    two words

    Sasha Vaynerchuk!

    Well, Sir G, I watch GV because he manages to combine wine education and tasting with entertainment in an unpretentious way! I’ve to admit, though, that both of you are complimentary, as your appearance emphasizes GV’s uniqueness and qualities.
    Cheers Sir G…Loved the music, BTW…

    Great parody! Most amazingly, you pulled that off without cracking up and busting out laughing (unless those 2 or 3 glitches were editing out your losing it). QOTD: don’t you think a rhetorical question deserves a rhetorical answer in the form of a rhetorical question? I do.

  • QOTD: I watch because while craft beer always seemed very approachable to me, wine did not..until I started watching this show. I have learned so much and get excited about wine now!

    Change is good, but I prefer the the real thing. Sir Gary can kiss me crumpet.
    QOTD: I come from a Russian family too and feel an affinity I suppose with this young man who loves his family, his friends, his community, wine for its own sake, and even his twisted perverted fanaticism for American football. I feel the same thing for soccer (the real Football)
    Budem zdorovye!

    That had to be one of the funniest ever! I nerely pissed myself laughing at Sir Gary’s dry sense of humor at the ignorance of the American wine drinkers! I think that changing things up is good. I didn’t expect this but, I liked it. Thanks.

    Dear Gary,

    Now that was an interesting contrast. Please bring Sir V back once a week as the eclecticism is appreciated and the contrast only enhances our overall enjoyment of your multi-faceted character. As for the Loire, I’ve lived there for a few months, and spent some time in the limestone caves sampling Vouvray. Thank you for the sedate episode. Let’s invite him back one day a week please.

    I like to have fun. GV has fun with wine, enjoys the wine. I wonder if SGV can enjoy wine. It seems merely an exercise to him like making a bed or something. His arrogance does make me laugh though.

    Wow Big G, I don’t think so. I know it’s Halloween and all, but really enough is enough with the acting. You wine knowledge and energy is enough for WLTV. I’m sorry but I have to give this episode and 82.

    QOTD: I watch the show for the other guy.
